永劫回歸之無處不在
隨着七一臨近，永劫回歸加緊轟炸，唯有盡量避開本地電視台及報章。可是偉大的特區政府決意「普天同慶」，「恩澤萬民」，想逃也逃不掉。今天翻開《經濟學人》，赫然發現一個跨版廣告，一邊是維港煙花，寫着：「Hong Kong has much to celebrate!」另一邊則是特區政府示威宣言：
“One Country, two Systems”. Some said it wouldn’t work.
The Past 10 years have proved otherwise.We have retained all our fundamental practices- the rule of law,
an independent judiciary, a level playing field,
a clean and efficient civil service,
and the same rights and freedoms.We have the same values -pluralism,
an international outlook and a strong work ethic.We are still the prime gateway to China
and our economy is thriving.Hong Kong has good reason to celebrate.
署名是Asia’s world city: Hong Kong。
機關算盡，奈何這個廣告卻夾在《經濟學人》名為「One-horse race: A Special report on Hong Kong」中間，人家似乎是衝着這個廣告而來，報道一開始便說： “After ten years of Chinese sovereignty, Hong Kong’s economy is thriving. But politics, says Simon Long, remains a one-horse race.”
政府若真要普天同慶，倒不如全港市民免稅一年，或多加十天公眾假期。行行好，請不要再搞如此爛的宣傳。

避開本地電視台是最明智的決定。
政府主辦或協辦那麼多慶回歸節目，還加上那一大堆擦鞋機構的那些，勞民傷財的程度真是讓人驚歎。
