I went to the special screening of "三峽好人" . 賈樟柯 was there in BC and he gave a talk after the screening. He explained a lot of things in his film, including the "four surrealistic scenes" Ah Sue mentions, and why 韓三明 suddenly comes back to look for his ex-wife, which is not explicity told in the film. The film was touching enough, but what 賈樟柯 said was even more touching... and so very human. That was a wonderful night.
